This discussion addressed trust drafting issues and best practices with regard to a potpourri of modern trends and hot topics such as trust protectors, directed trusts, portability, increased exemptions, higher income taxes, decoupling, assisted reproductive technologies, same sex marriage, and digital assets. The discussion focused on practical implementation and how to remain flexible in these areas, with the intent of helping participants incorporate these insights into their practices today.
