Since joining Gresham in 2020, Channing has worked closely with ultra-high-net-worth families to help simplify the complexities of wealth. He advises clients on investment strategy, trust and estate planning, tax-efficient wealth transfer, charitable giving, and cash flow planning. He also coordinates closely with clients’ attorneys, accountants, and other advisors to provide an integrated approach to wealth management. Channing enjoys building long-term relationships with families and helping them make thoughtful financial decisions throughout every stage of life.
Before joining Gresham, Channing worked as a Senior Tax Consultant at Deloitte, where he advised multinational corporations on complex tax planning and compliance matters. This experience provided him with a strong technical foundation that he now uses to help families navigate sophisticated wealth and tax planning strategies.
Outside of work, Channing can usually be found chasing his sports-loving toddler son around, playing basketball, or cheering on the Tar Heels. A Charlotte native, he moved to Chicago in 2019 and remains one of the few people who genuinely enjoys winter snowfall.
