Sam Johnson
Sam joined Gresham in 2025. He works closely with other members of the Investment Team to source and evaluate prospective investment managers and monitor the performance of existing investments. His primary responsibilities include manager sourcing, due diligence, and portfolio monitoring.
Prior to joining Gresham, Sam served as director of investments for the Loyola University Chicago endowment, where he helped build and oversee the public markets portfolio. Sam began his career at GCM Grosvenor, where he worked on the firm’s absolute return strategies team.
Outside of work, Sam enjoys spending time with his wife and two young children, sharing their enthusiasm for race cars, monster trucks, and sports of all kinds.
