Joe Simpson
Partner & Head of Public Investments
As Head of Public Investments at Gresham, Joe leads the public markets team in their pursuit of compelling investment strategies and managers on a global basis.
Joe joined Gresham in 2005 and is responsible for managing Gresham’s Public Markets research team. Joe has 25 years of experience in manager due diligence, asset allocation, and portfolio construction across global public markets. He serves as a senior member of the Investment Committee.
Prior to joining Gresham, Joe was a vice president in the Private Banking and Investment Group at Merrill Lynch, where he developed asset allocation, portfolio construction and manager selection strategies for the firm’s largest advisory groups.
Outside of work, Joe is a die-hard Denver Broncos fan and enjoys spending time with his family in the Colorado mountains.
